== Zerotohundred's TimeToAttack ==

A couple of weeks back, I blogged about a Time Attack event which was organized by Zerotohundred in conjunction with their 10th anniversary.

Here is a brief summary of what happened that day. (Videos and pictures after the jump)


So, I left the house at around 10am as Bryan of Autojunctions.com had arranged for a couple of members and enthusiasts to convoy all the way to Sepang. The meeting place was a petrol station located at the infamous "Jalan Horsepower" or Hosepower Road in Sunway.

Met up with Alvin and FugZ there for some breakfast as we were slightly early and had some time to kill.

Fast-forward 45-minutes, and we were on our way. I was rather excited as this was the first time in a very very long time since I've last been to Sepang for a "track day". What more a track day of this scale.

The heavens opened up en route to Sepang and I was thinking to myself, "pls let it be sunny & dry at the track". But alas, the weather wasn't in our favor and it poured at Sepang.

Nevertheless, the event had to go on, and boy did it go on. Never have I seen so many petrolheads gathered in one area and in such bad weather with their precious rides before. All of which had only one thing on their mind that day. No, it wasn't the fact that their precious "just washed" rides are now soaking in the heavy rain, it wasn't the "oh shit I brought Semi slick/slick tires today", it was to be the fastest to go around Sepang International Circuit.

I must say, every driver that day, really put in everything they've got to come up with the best time despite the very very wet conditions. Needless to say, there were a couple of spins here and there, but no big incidents fortunately.

All in all, I would say that the event was a highly successful one. Nevermind the rain, nevermind the confusing and sometimes rather disorganized queue at the pitlane, nevermind the lack of the female species or the lack of food & beverages. It was the passion for motorsports that counts. Just come out and give it all you've got.
