Had a pretty rough week.

Never would I have thought that the day would come so soon. The day I lost my pillar of strength, the day I lost my Dad.

Sunday 22nd July, exactly 1-year and 1-week after losing my grandad, Mom calls me up crying over the phone. Asking me to stay home and wait for her to come home. My heart instantly hit the floor, eventhough I was not certain of what had happened. I kept asking my mom what happened, but she wouldn't say. I thought maybe my Dad was admitted to the hospital or clinic or something like that.

Around 30-mins later, my mom returns with one of her friends in tow. Mom was still crying and would not answer when I asked her what had happened. Then, her friend turns to me and says.. "your Papa had a heart attack..he passed away.."

Instantly I felt like everything around me was collapsing.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, another freaking tiring ass day.

Thank God that I'll be on leave tomorrow. Going to send the car for inspection and then have its fluids changed.

Hmm, for the heck of it, I think I will re-cap my day;

Summary for Gerald 190608:

• Replied and sent 35 e-mails. (Judging from my Sent Items folder)
• Draft out 5 designs.
• FA-ed 3 designs
  
• Checked 2 invoices. (about 20-pages each)
  
• Sent 2 designs for output
  

Yeah, that was basically my day.

It's SuperGT weekend once again! my how time flies. I can't believe it's already one whole year. I don't think that I posted anything about last year's GT, did I? Well, regardless of that, I shall now share with you some pics taken at the 2007 SuperGT







So, I'm pretty excited about this year's race as this year is the debut of the new NISSAN GT-R in SuperGT. Should be an awesome sight. A big thanks to Alvin and his dad for providing the tickets and Pit Walkabout passes :D

Had the opportunity to drive a MONSTER last night. Take a look at the RPM meter below and guess which monstrosity it belongs to :)

So, it looks to me like Tower Records in KLCC is about to go bust. I went in to have a look-see yesterday and the place was practically EMPTY. There were empty CD racks and also the Dance/House music room was completely closed.

They had this RM10 section, basically OLD CDs for only RM10! Holy fuck, I couldn't help but spend 2/3 of my lunchtime there looking through all the RM10 CDs. Of all the CDs, I only found 2 which were worth buying. (that's what I think at least)

Yupp.. 2 very old movie soundtracks.
The "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" soundtrack is a real gem. I'll share with you a track from this OST. This track is called Relax by Deetah from the UK. This track is indeed, RELAXing.

Sigh. I guess everybody knows by now, the new price for petrol is RM2.70/litre.

Let's do some math...

Say for example.. everytime you fill up.. you fill-in 40litres of petrol. So..at the old price..

40litre x RM1.92 = RM76.80

NOW at the NEW price...

40litre x RM2.70 = RM108!

That's an extra RM31.20!!

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccckkk.....
